The CALM facility provides an Olympus widefield microscope for phase contrast imaging at low magnification (10x, 20x lenses). The system is based on an Olympus IX81 stand with a Prior ProScanII XY-motorised stage. For image acquisition the system is eqipped with an Olympus F-View camera, which is operated by the Olympus Cell-P software.

The Olympus Cell manual and the Cell training manual comprehensively describe the entire functionality of the Olympus Cell software family and thus contain function that might not be available on the CALM Cell P system.
